Leadertech was in charge to create and develop FIA 2015 Formula E Berlin ePrix Circuit Design, formally known as the DHL Berlin ePrix.
In May 2015, we designed FIA Formula E racetrack at the iconic Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, Germany. This was also the debut of our very own integrated kerbs system!
Berlin has been hosting FIA Formula E Championship since then. We have proudly been there too.
The Berlin ePrix is full of interesting trivia:
Did you know Berlin ePrix is usually a double header? We must change the layout in ONE night!
In 2015/2016, Tempelhof was occupied, so the race was held in the busy Karl-Marx Allee/Strausberger Platz, right in center of Berlin.
In 2020, due to the Covid19 pandemic, Tempelhof hosted SIX races, all with different layouts, over the course of one week. Leadertech designed and built them all.
Circuit length 2.375 km (1.475 miles)
